On April 7 & 8, 2016, we honored the remarkable contributions of Ed Lightfoot and celebrated his 90th birthday while also examining the past and looking to the future of research and education in quantitative biology (qbio) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The symposium featured plenary talks from key researchers in qbio-related fields, a poster session, a mini-workshop on challenges and opportunities in qbio, and a banquet to honor Professor Lightfoot.
